04U - Playground (Coed) - April/May 2025
Our computer program automatically places your child in the appropriate division based on their date of birth. Your player will only play with children who turned three the same calendar year as your child.
You will likely not hear from us until mid-March.
The registration fee includes:
- Jersey
- Photographs (likely 4 - wallets (of your player), 1 - 3" button (of your player))
- Recognition award (likely trophy or medal)
- Five 45-minute Saturday sessions, tentatively April 5, 2025 to May 10, 2025 (no session April 19, 2025). Typically the same time each week. Exact location and time T.B.D. Schedule should be known by middle of March 2025.
Saturday sessions are lead by our professional coaches with assistance from our volunteer coaches. If we have to cancel a session for reasons outside of our control, such as if the City closes down the field because of rain, we are typically unable to do a makeup session due to field availability.
There are no weekday practices.
AYSO does not provide, and players must bring (in addition to AYSO-provided jersey):
- A properly-inflated size 3 soccer ball
- Shorts
- Closed-toed shoes (ideally soccer cleats, but cleats are not required)
- Socks (ideally soccer socks)
- Water bottle
We strongly recommend, but don't require (because 4U players do not challenge for the ball), players bring:
- Shin guards
- Soccer socks (long socks which cover and secure shin guards)
- Soccer cleats
Players should not bring:
- Jewelry/necklaces/earrings/watches/wrist bands
- Pets (no pets are permitted around our sessions.)
