What to bring to tryouts: Soccer cleats, shin guards, a soccer ball, a mask, and LOTS of water!
Hi Parents, we are happy to announce that the State, County and City of Irvine are permitting us to play soccer again!
With this great news, we are starting to plan for our Fall 2021 Advanced Play (Extra) Teams here in Irvine…and we would love for you to consider having your child/children try out for our program…
AYSO EXTRA is a program that provides the opportunity for skilled players to play soccer at a more challenging level. EXTRA allows players to play against the best teams from nearby regions and areas to experience a higher level of competition while keeping travel commitments light and costs reasonable…approximately 1/5 the cost of club soccer.
Full tryouts for the Fall teams will be for the following gender and birth years:
Date: March 21, 2021
Location: David Sills Lower Peters Canyon Park; 3901 Farwell Avenue, Irvine.
1:45pm to 3:15pm
· Boys 2013
· Boys 2012
3:45pm to 5:15pm
· Girls 2013
· Girls 2011
All participants should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance to check-in and warm up!
If the event is rained out, we will reschedule for March 28th at the same location and the same times.

Also…for those families with players of the below birth years, we are looking for the following number of players to fill our existing teams for this Spring and potentially into the forthcoming Fall Season:
· Boys 2009 (3 players)
· Girls 2009 (3 players)
· Boys 2008 (2 players)
· Girls 2007 (1 player)
For these 4 teams, you are invited to reach out to us at: [email protected] and we will connect you to the coach who as the option of inviting your child to one or more of their existing team training sessions for an evaluation. All other teams are currently full at this time.
SAFETY NOTICE:
We are following the state guidelines in terms of player, volunteer, and family safety. This means that all players are required to wear masks until they take the field to start their try out. Once they take the field to play, masks are optional. However, masks are always required for: Parents, Volunteers and Trainers. No Exceptions!
